Description: Every winter, the most slothful of humans morph into this poorly studied mammal, the Heater Creature. Permanently residing indoors, this mysterious beast is rumoured to obsessively hoard hot chocolate, marshmallows and chicken soup.
Exquisitely-timed junkets to warm, tropical climates has meant that no politician has ever actually seen one of these rare animals. Because of this, legislation is lacking to protect the species from hunting, and it has been slaughtered for its thick pelt. The subsequent rarity of the Heater Creature has caused it to be shunted to the realm of cryptozoological oddities, holding rank with bizarre monsters such as the bunyip and Nessie.
