Description: A row of forested hills near a Thredbo, NSW, campsite, half burnt from fire a few years earlier. A great place to camp, as I was able to give a wild wombat a back scratch, see young kangaroos play-fight a few metres away and was shadowed by hungry ducks the whole time. There were emus, platypuses, at least five cockatoo species, several parrots and lots of songbirds. This photo doesn't do justice to the incredible beauty of the place.
