Commissions: Artwork and illustrations
Contact me to commission professional, detailed artwork and illustrations, such as for book covers, children's books or game art. My aim with each new painting is to out-do my previous work, and I enjoy a creative or technical challenge; for example, water, metal, fire, atmospheric effects, machinery, humans, monsters, drapery and action scenes.
Medium used:
I specialise in acrylics and only use professional-quality paints.
Copyright:
Copyright and printing rights for the commissioned artwork are conferred to the client. For example, clients may use the artwork for commercial use (e.g. a book cover, calendar, T-shirt or advertising). I retain credit as the artwork's creator, and may include the artwork in online or printed portfolios of my work with credit to the client as necessary.
Prices and payment methods:
Common artwork sizes are listed below and other sizes are priced on a pro-rata basis. Clients may pay through Paypal or bank account deposit (Australian clients may also pay through cheque or money order).

The commission process:
Email me to discuss the details of the commission: the appearance and posture of any figures, their setting, the size of the painting, as well as the 'bleed edge' and deadline where applicable. If a standard contract is used with all your artists, outline the details of this in the first instance.
I will email concept sketches for your revision or approval. The commission fee is due after you approve the final design, but before I commence work on the actual painting. Once I begin painting, the estimated completion time is between two and eight weeks depending on the artwork's size and complexity.
Shipping:
Registered airmail or a courier service is available and is charged (at cost) on a case-by-case basis.
