Trek Earth: Great photography website showcasing fascinating cities, landscapes, people and animals from around the world. This is a great place to browse for creative inspiration. Trek Nature is similar to Trek Earth and focuses on landscapes and wildlife, with some excellent macro shots of insects, fungi and other intricate tiny things.

Bush Heritage Australia: A not-for-profit organisation that buys private or government land with the intention of protecting (and/ or restoring) the biodiversity and ecosystem functioning of the site, and linking it to other sites. See also the Nature Conservancy.

The Wombat Foundation: a charitable organisation supporting work to bring the northern hairy-nosed wombat back from the brink of extinction- there are only 115 northern hairy-nosed wombats in a single population in Queensland, Australia.

James Gleeson on Wikipedia: It's hard to nominate a favourite artist, but late Australian surrealist James Gleeson is one of mine. (See also Google Images results for James Gleeson.)
